Haya is an international student from Jordan pursuing a degree in Neurobiology with a minor in Interdisciplinary Sciences at USD. She is passionate about research on how trauma affects individuals and the biological basis of mental illnesses and disorders, among many other topics. In the future, she hopes to attend medical school and pursue a career in neurosurgery.
